ART TAIPEI 2017 台北國際藝術博覽會

RIVER ART is going to present works from three Taiwanese young artists, Yang Bo-Yao, Chen Yenping and Chiu Yi-Chen in ART TAIPEI 2017. We cordially invite you to join the exhibition!

 

Born in 1981, Yang Bo-Yao had staged on ART TAIPEI 2016 with a solo exhibition. With highly distinguishable style of creations, precious and exquisite realistic techniques, in-depth theme discussions, and a booth designed as a huge greenhouse with artificial grasses, his works impressed a lot of collectors at that time. This year, his new works will continue with “From Place of Origin to the Table” series exhibited last year, exploring the theme of food production and consumption under the contemporary food industry's high degree of development. Born in 1986, Chen Yenping’s creations executed with mixed media have a quite strong and personal style, selected by Kaohsiung Award and Young Art Award, especially Sotheby’s benefit auction in Wien in Austria. He makes his debut at ART TAIPEI this time and brings his latest series of creations “Industrial Zen” which discusses the desire for consumption and the meaning of self-existence. Chiu Yi-Chen was born in 1990. Inspired by the enlightenment of nature, his works reset objective images and sense experiences in memories associated with the misplacement of time and space, condensing optical illusion of nature in scene after scene which full of deeply concerns for humanity and metaphorical social discussions behind. This year, he makes his debut in ART TAIPEI and brings his latest and largest piece of work.
